The research behind The Unknown Group Chat:

What did you need to learn before you could write the book?

I needed to understand how to build suspense, create believable friendships, and keep readers guessing without revealing the mystery too early. I also wanted to make the group chat feel realistic, so every message would move the story forward and make readers question who they could trust.

Which fact surprised you the most?

One thing that surprised me while developing the story was how much tension a simple message could create. A short message like “ONE OF YOU IS LYING” can make readers question every character and turn an ordinary conversation into a mystery.

What did you find that did not make it into the book?

While developing the story, I explored extra possibilities for the characters, their secrets, and the clues hidden throughout the mystery. Not every idea needed to become part of the final story. I wanted to keep the pacing strong and leave readers with questions they would want to keep reading to answer.
